| Requirements |
| Grade 10 or equivalent qualifications. Early childhood development certificate (ECD), basic childminder and first aid. Minimum 1-year experience in a creche environment, ability to work shifts, and good communication skills. Knowledge of Batho Pele principles and customer care. Must be able to cope with the physical demands of the position and long working hours. Computer literacy will be an added advantage |

| Duties |
| Receiving of the children in the morning from the parents. Collecting meals for children. Feeding the children, ensure the children are safe at all times. Maintain a healthy and safe environment for the children. Promote early learning development. Inform Supervisor of groceries and cleaning materials needed for the crèche. Report any problems to the supervisor timelessly. Assist in Admission of new children to crèche, Knowledge of child care and feeding nutrition, Teaching Grade RR, Understanding of health legislation and the Child Act. |
