Mustek Limited: General Worker

To provide general cleaning services to the company.

•Clean, dust and mop office floors by using a variety of equipment and supplies daily for Sales and operations
•Ensure that cleaning liquids are mixed and kept in correct and safe quantities
•Vacuum carpets weekly in sales/admin area, twice a week in collections dept.
•Wipe down desks and chairs and make sure that any stubborn smears are removed using appropriate cleaning materials
•Empty trash daily and make sure that all trash is properly disposed off
•Clean and wash down windows every 2nd month and ensure that they are dried properly
•Clean and wash down balconies every 2nd month and ensure that they are dried properly
•Unpack and wipe down all kitchen cupboards every 2nd month
•Unpack and clean the fridges every month, dispose of expired food
•Ensure that the office kitchens (Sales and Operations) and equipment is properly cleaned and maintained daily.
•Ensure all sugar, tea, coffee containers are filled daily
•Wash down restrooms and ensure they are sanitized properly daily
•Replenish hand towels, soap and toilet paper in bathrooms on a regular basis
•Wipe down walls, doors and wall hangings using appropriate types of cleaners and cloth when necessary
•Ensure proper cleanliness of the areas around the office such as walkways
•Ensure coffee machine is cleaned and refilled daily
•Ensure bar fridge is stocked with water and cooldrinks at all times
•Preparing the meeting areas for customer functions and clearing after the meeting/training
•Ensure the fire escape door is locked by 4pm every afternoon
•Ensure all restroom windows are closed by 4pm every afternoon

Qualifications and Experience:
•Matric, lower qualification will be considered based on basic literacy skills
•1 year’ experience in similar role

Knowledge and Skills:
•Basic housekeeping
•Able to follow instructions and routines
