Job Purpose

Under general supervision, operate a forklift.

Salary: R10,553.68 per month basic plus benefits

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate a forklift for the movement of pallets and produce

Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water and tires

Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

Load, lift and move articles on pallets, pallets from trading agents to distribution centre

Load truck with pallets and packed produce

Stock splitting for customers

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Grade 9 / NQF Level 1

Forklift driver’s license

6 months relevant experience
