Canon Collins: Tom Queba Scholarships for Social Change 2022

About Canon Collins Tom Queba Memorial Fund

The Canon Collins Tom Queba Memorial Fund is a charity set up in partnership with the Canon Collins Educational & Legal Assistance Trust. The charity was founded in 1981 to uplift improvised students in the UK and independent African states. The Canon Collins Trust has helped over 4,000 students in over 14 countries.

The memorial fund is named after Tom Queba, the former leader of the George taxi industry. Mr. Queba was committed to improving the public transport system in George. His efforts also contributed significantly to the minibus taxi industry. The fund was set up after his tragic death in 2014. The fund is responsible for running the Tom Queba Scholarship for Social Change.
