Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Construction Man with Blasting Certificate to be placed in Sibanye Stillwater Mine Karee 4 . The successful candidate will report to the Foreman Engineering. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Ability to perform risk assessment proficiently
- Working experience in an underground mining environment
- Competent ,positive and motivated team
- Compliance with SHEQ , MRC and Client standards , Policies and procedures
- Effective self- management and alignment with MRC Values
- Construct Main Tips and Bulkheads
Rehabilitating ore-pass systems
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Blasting Certificate
Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· ·Knowledge of all construction work such as pipe installations, rail construction and concrete
- Shaft Working Experience
- Ability to perform risk assessment proficiently
- Working experience in an underground mining environment
- Construction of Tips
- Building of Bulkheads
- Ore-Pass Rehabilitation
