Client Relations Representative Job Description
Our Taskmaverick team is looking for skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for a Client Services position. The Client Relations Representative will manage customer queries or requests, provide timely customer support, assist with system issues, or escalate them across various communication channels, and support the roll-out of new features, among other duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent English communication skills and business knowledge. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and essentially thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment. You must be a fast learner, self-motivated and able to work productively with limited direction.
Functions and Duties:
Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner, on various platforms (phone, video, email).
Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features.
Analyze and report product malfunctions.
Follow up with customers to ensure their business issues are resolved.
Gather customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
2+ years of experience in customer support, desktop support, customer success, client liaison, or similar roles.
Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Experience in education is advantageous.
Ability to perform work remotely, while on live camera with virtual office team.
Quality computer (desktop or laptop), with a good quality microphone and video camera.
Reliable and stable internet connection.
Backup power solutions (e.g., UPS, generator, backup lighting, inverter, etc.).
Workdays: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays Required.
Time Range: 15:00 – 00:00 (SAST) – 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (PST)
Shift Duration: 8 hours.
Compensation: Competitive compensation in USD (Rates aligned with the South Africa market).
Work Location: Remote.
