GALXBOY Casual Sales Assistant
Main Purpose Of The Job:
We are looking for a December casual to provide high-class customer service and assist during the busy festive time. This contract will commence from 1 November 2023 to 31 January 2024.
Key Areas Of Responsibility:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Higher education (Advantageous)
- 1 – 2 years of work experience preferably in a retail environment
- Knowledge of retail practices
- Demonstrated ability to perform customer service duties.
- Leadership skills
