Haleon is a renowned global consumer health corporation known for its prominent household brands, encompassing oral care items, nutritional products, medications, and over-the-counter remedies. Among its well-known brands are  Panadol, Sensodyne, Grand-Pa, Advil, and Centrum.

Established in 2022 through a corporate spin-off from GSK, Haleon operates globally, with a presence across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Pacific, North America, the Middle East, Central America, and South America.

Haleon Bursary 2024

Haleon has invited student applications for its bursary program for the academic year 2024. Bursaries are available for BSc (Eng), BEng, or B Tech Degree programs in the following areas:

• Automation (Electronic Engineering) / Mechatronics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Reliability (Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering)

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements before applying. Please be aware that failing to meet any of these criteria will result in your application not being taken into consideration.

• You must be a citizen of South Africa.
• You must have successfully completed Matric.
• You must be enrolled full-time in a degree program within one of the specified fields.
• You should be in your 3rd or final year of an undergraduate degree or the final year of a Master of Engineering Degree in 2024.
• Your intention should be to study at an accredited University in South Africa.
• You must maintain a strong academic record.
• Successful completion of all subjects in the current study period is required.
• You must maintain a minimum average of 65% for the semester.
• You should demonstrate proven financial need based on your household income.
• Possess strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Exhibit excellent technical abilities.
• You must be capable of working effectively within a team.
• Possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Display enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a proactive approach.
