| Job Description | AECI Mining Explosives is looking to recruit a Fitter to work in the North-West at Sibanye, Stillwate and Bathopele Mine. To assist the UBS engineering section in maintaining and improving existing underground equipment. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | • Underground charging unit scheduled maintenance. • New equipment assembly. • Fault finding on all UBS equipment. • Standby and call out duties. • Assist the UBS engineering section in maintaining and improving existing underground equipment. |
| Qualifications & Experience | • Matric / Grade 12 or NQF equivalent. • Qualified Artisan • Minimum of 1 years related experience. • Pneumatic, electric and hydraulic experience will be an advantage. • PLC Programming experience will be an advantage. • Computer experience will be an advantage. • Willingness to be trained on instrumentation and electrical equipment. • Prepared to travel and go underground as required. • Able to obtain a valid Red Ticket. |
