Job Description:
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensure effective implementation of safety systems and initiatives and participate in SHE meetings and campaigns
- Comply with the mine’s traffic management plan
- Communicate daily mining schedules and planning with the crew
- Ensure compliance to the mine design and practices according to the mining cycle
- Supervise team and manage their performance (including providing training where required)
- Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained
This role is in the Mining Department at a C2 level reporting to the Shift Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Grade 10
- Blasting Certificate
- Certified Competent A & B
- Sandvik 210 competency
To be successful, you will have the following experience:
- At least 5 years TMM miner experience in a mechanized underground mine
Additional information:
- Record of Service must be attached
- Computer Literacy
- Driver’s license code 08 and own transport
- If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test and Psychometric Assessment
