DRIVER (1 POST)
REF: 8/2023/NGM/P14

The University is looking for an energetic individual who will be responsible for driving its vehicles with due care and safely transport passengers, goods and mail delivery, within the requisite approvals.

The incumbent reports to the Manager: Transport in the Department of Finance and must meet the requirements, competencies and be responsible for the key performance areas listed below.

REQUIREMENTS
• Matric/Grade 12
• A valid code C1 driving licence
• A valid Public Driving Permit (PDP)
• Advance driving skills will be an added advantage
• At least two (2) years’ driving experience
• Ability to work outside of normal working hours
• Ability to gain a thorough knowledge of city and suburban streets
• Computer literacy
