Automotive Service Advisor Wanted – Apply Now: Salary R15 000 a month. A company, specializing in the service and repairs of vehicles, and with workshops throughout South Africa, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor.

Duties – including but not limited to the below:

Customers:

Booking in customer vehicles
Test driving vehicles before instructions are given to the Mechanics
Quotations
Dealing with all comebacks
Workshop:

Manage Mechanics, Fitters and Cleaners
Allocate work to workshop employees and control productivity
Ensure Mechanics find and report every fault on every vehicle
Ensure parts arrive on time
Ensure Mechanics comply with “Mechanics check list and duties”
Check that all parts supplied to Mechanics are fitted (check that old parts are put into vehicle boot)
Supervise complicated repairs
Diagnose problems
Ensure workshop staff comply with the requirements of the Occupational Safety Act
Reception:

Supervise administrator duties
Ensure control systems are kept strictly up to date
Responsible for discipline including time keeping
Training of other managers / secretaries and franchisees.
Requirements:

MUST HAVE VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE
Matric
4 Years’ experience in business management and vehicle repair background
Panel Beating experience is an advantage
Valid drivers’ license and own vehicle
Computer literate in MS Office
