Job Summary Statement | General sales administration, including stock control, tendering and general sales desk coordination.The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the Sales Team. Create sales documents and proposals, generate reports related to sales activities and revenue date, as well as handling customers and prioritizing customer requests |
Minimum Requirements | ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: • National Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration EXPERIENCE: • None |
Duties & Responsibilities | • Data capturing • Receive quotation requests from clients • Action quotation costing and forward quotation to manager to authorize • Issue written authorized quotation to client • Receive written order from client and compare with quotation • Approve order and forward to operations • Receive completed job cards and related documents • Tele-sales / Tender preparation and status enquiry • Maintain and promote team relationship • Provide effective support function to the Sales & Marketing department • Maintain and update the Marketing Intelligent Information Management system • Ensure that proposals / tenders address the key issues and comply technically and commercially with the requirements of the enquiry • Build and maintain good relationships with various external and internal stakeholders by communicating in an effective manner • Track process from order to delivery • Processing a high volume of product orders • Processing invoices for all sales transactions • Checking prices and contracts are up to date • Reporting monthly sales results to the sales team • Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives • Communicating internally important feedback from Customers • Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails • Consignment stock process knowledge required • Reconciliation process knowledge required |
Knowledge Skills & Abilities | • High inclination to learning • Must have excellent verbal and written communication • Must be a team player • Must have good communication skills • The capacity of working with numbers and numerical/mathematical concepts related to production • Must have high levels of energy and team involvement • Numeric Skills Essential • Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Power Point would be advantageous. • Good organisational and communication skills |
