OUTPUTS:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs/maintenance on generators/motors/alternators/engines on Earthmoving Equipment in workshops and on customer sites
• Remove and install Mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform standby and attend callouts Compile accurate customer service reports
• Provide specialist advice on all the customer requirements
• Build and sustain excellent customer relationships
• Effectively manage EMP account and Ensure safe work practice
• Remove and install Electrical and Mechanical components
• Wiring electrical panels (MV and HV) and Maintain service vehicle and equipment
• Maintain a professional image when representing Barloworld Equipment on customer site
• Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer electrical and mechanical breakdowns
• Effective self-management and performance ownership
• Control contamination own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
• Knowledge of electronics as applied to the control of heavy electrically driven equipment

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified in relevant trade (Millwright ONLY) Wireman’s licence (Optional), HT Certificate and Drivers licence – Code B
• Three years of technical experience in Electrical drive truck and Applicable product knowledge
• Good physical health and Sound communication skills
• Business development skills and knowledge
• Sound business and financial acumen
• Exposure to business planning/budgeting processes
• Employee relations Good Reporting and Fault-finding skills
• Good Computer skills to do machine diagnostics and fault finding
• Self-motivated and driven
• Able to work Shifts – Night Shift and Day shift
• Must be proactive, flexible
• Good problem-solving, diligent
• Must be able to develop good customer relationships and dynamic in his approach for change
