About Bigen

Bigen is a leading infrastructure development group of companies with an established and continuously growing presence in Africa. It delivers a wide range of socio-economic, financial, environmental, and technical services on multiple cost-effective, sustainable infrastructure projects like agriculture, water, real estate, transportation, energy, health sectors, and more. Today, it consistently plays a significant role in providing customized infrastructure solutions to clients all over the continent.

Bigen is a strong believer in doing good while doing business. Thus, as a way to give back, among other things, Bigen is offering financial support to deserving young students who portray strong academic potential and studying towards a Civil or Electrical Engineering degree.

Bigen Bursary

Bigen offers bursaries to deserving students that are in the fields of Civil and Electrical Engineering. This bursary covers educational expenses from the first year up to the final year. The amount of the bursary is fixed, covering tuition fees, book fees, and other necessary expenses. It does not, however, cover a student’s residential fees.

Beneficiaries of the said bursary are considered as part of Bigen from the day they become Bigen Bursars. That being said, students are required to participate in 4 weeks of paid vacation work annually.

Being a Bigen Bursar comes with multiple benefits. In addition to receiving educational financial assistance, students will be invited to various functions including Bigen Young Professionals Forum, partake in paid vacation work, and most importantly, guaranteed employment at Bigen upon graduation.
