SafetyGrip Johannesburg is on the look out for a mature, flexible and willing individual to join our team to transport the companies management staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Transporting the company’s Management staff
Liaising with the company’s staff to determine their transport needs and plan accordingly
Route planning and selecting the fastest routes based on GPS software and traffic updates unless otherwise instructed
Completing collections and deliveries on behalf of staff if required
Transporting other individuals if required
Abiding by road regulations at all times
Ensuring that the vehicle remains pristine and in excellent working order. Vehicle to be checked on a daily basis
Forecasting and responding to staff’s questions and concerns
Run other errands if required
Liaise with head office staff to ensure that vehicle license and services are up to date
Keep record of- and submit all fuel slips

Job Requirements:

Must reside in Roodepoort
Flexibility is essential. Must be able to work outside of normal working hours, on weekends and on public holidays if required
Must have parking space for a kombi at their place of residence
Must understand Afrikaans
Maturity is essential
Must be discrete and possess high levels of integrity
Valid driver’s license (Code B) and PDP
Be able to fit and strip a tyre and must be able to complete a breakdown
Minimum of 5 years driving experience
Must have experience driving a kombi
Previous chauffeur experience will be highly advantageous
Acquainted with GPS software and local traffic reports
Familiar with routes in Gauteng
Excellent communication skills
Neat appearance
Non-smoker
Must be extremely reliable and punctual
Must be responsible

Education and Experience:

Matric/Grade 12
Minimum of 5 years driving experience
Previous chauffeur experience will be highly advantageous
Must have experience driving a kombi
