Those students who wish to fulfill their academic dreams can apply for the Cipla bursary program 2022. Under this bursary program, the following fields of study are covered.

  • Computer Science and Information Science
  • Graphic Design
  • Health Science
  • Pharmacy
  • Digital Marketing and Communications
  • Natural Science
  • Economic Management Sciences (Business studies, Accounting, and Finance)

  • Human Sciences, Industrial psychology, and Human Resources
  • Manufacturing (Logistics, Demand Planning, Production, and Warehousing)

Bursary Coverage

The Cipla bursary covers the following expenses related to the qualification:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Books
  • Laptop (maximum of R 8000). Though the laptop cost will be borne by the bursary, students will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, insurance, replacement, etc.
  • Meals

Bursary Renewal Criteria

The Cipla bursary is awarded for one year. To receive the funding for subsequent years, students must fulfill the following conditions:

  • One must maintain a minimum overall average of 70% every year
  • Students receiving other funding or financial aid must disclose it
  • Any information that directly or indirectly impacts the bursary program must be conveyed to Cipla
  • For every quarter, a student must inform about any changes in the subject, address, contact details, studying status, and so on
  • Bursary recipient must attend continuous development virtual workshops
  • Students are required to apply for the Cipla Graduate program, after graduation
  • Each student must take part in vacation work

Eligibility Criteria For The Cipla Bursary

Meeting the following eligibility criteria is a must for every student:

  • One must be a South African citizen
  • Students must be between 18 and 33 years
  • You must have completed the first year of study and be starting your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or later year of study in 2022
  • Students must have passed Matric
  • You must have an interest in studying the above-mentioned qualifications
  • Students must be willing to study at a recognized & accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa
  • One must achieve 70% of the overall minimum average each year and in the most recent qualification too
  • You should agree to take part in vacation work and apply for the Cipla Graduation skills program after graduating
  • You should be highly motivated

How to Apply For The Cipla Bursary?

Students must fill the Cipla Bursary Online Application Form. Along with the application form, students must submit the following documents. In case any of the documents are missing, the application will be rejected.

All the documents must be submitted in pdf format and must contain your name, surname, and document type.

Documents Required

  • Certified ID proof
  • Certified Matric certificate
  • Latest academic transcripts on institution’s letterhead
  • Registration proof
  • Curriculum vitae (must contain ID number, race, gender, contact number, email, postal address)
  • Funding required (invoice or quote for expenses like tuition fees, books, meals, accommodation, etc.)

Additional Information

  • If you do not receive any communication till 30 March 2022 then you may consider your application unsuccessful
