Successful completion of 12 months Community Service at a recognized public institution. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist – Independent Practice. | | | Duties | | Render psychotherapeutic services (individuals, families, couples and groups) to inpatients and outpatients, adults, adolescents and children; psychometric assessments using valid and standardized tests for pycho-diagnostic purposes. Collaborate and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team (medical professionals and allied health departments) in the assessment and treatment of patients. Assist psychology department in other reasonably related matters including individual and peer supervision, ordering, undertaking some management and administrative tasks.
