EPWP VACANCIES NEED THE FOLLOWING STAFF

EPWP DATA CAPTURE DIRECTORATE: LOCAL ECONOMIC PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

CONTRACT POSITION (MAXIMUM 11 MONTHS)

Stipend: R7500 (Monthly Basic Salary)

The corresponding municipal benefits will be applied.

QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 ● Unemployed individuals, ages 18-35 ● Proficient in MS programs, especially MS Excel and strong fact-checking skills ● Any prior exposure to online reporting systems will be beneficial ● Effective communication skills in al least two of the three official languages ​​of the Cape.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

The EPWP data collector shall report the following information to update progress in the EPWP reporting systems: • Capture employment data in online and offline templates • Attend site visits related to EPWP projects • Communicate with contractors and other municipal officials • Compare data with source documents related to: copy of contracts, copy of IDs, and payroll information • Collect, sort, and verify accurate list of data with supervisor before data is entered into the EPWP offline and online project templates • Identify data errors and report to supervisor • Communicate regularly with project managers about: data required, issues, etc. • EPWP project profiling • Online reporting of EPWP projects in both MIS and IRS (training will be provided) • Administrative tasks: taking minutes, maintaining the EPWP project file: Ensure that all project documentation is backup is archived for auditing purposes, taking minutes and writing minutes, and various project-related tasks in a professional format.

DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYEES SUPPORTING THE EPWP ADMINISTRATION

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

The EPWP administrative support employee will be required to assist with the collection and scrutiny of the following information to update progress in the EPWP reporting systems: Employment information: number of job opportunities, days worked per person, and days created for the reporting quarter ● Financial information – any changes to project budget expense and project payroll for the reporting quarter ● Participation information – summary of participants, their days worked and their daily salary for the reporting quarter ● Project Results: A description of the products/services produced by the project.
