We are currently recruiting for the following position, located at Food Lover’s Market Head Office situated in Brackengate, Cape Town

Position Description: Personal Assistant – Group Financial Director

Food Lover’s Market has an exciting role which requires a dynamic and seasoned individual who has worked as a PA in a Financial Corporate Retail environment.

Responsibilities

Summary of Responsibilities

To assist the Group Financial Director, by monitoring and improving internal processes, assist the finance team in managing its relationship within the business, to achieve high levels of customer service.  Further to assist the Group Financial Director to achieve required Key Performance indicators and objective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:

Recruitment and retention, Performance management, Communication and team culture

• Stakeholder Management:

Internal & External stakeholders, through influencing and sound decision making

• Meeting Management & Corporate Governance:

Monthly, quarterly and annual meeting management, annual planning

• General Office Management and Administration
  • Identify and implement the system and process improvements within the business.
  • Travel planning and management of travel costs within budget constraints
  • Event coordination and planning
  • Apply basic project management to successfully manage short term projects

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Business Diploma, or similar qualification
• 10 years’ experience in a retail/commercial orientated EA/PA position, in a corporate environment
• Excellent leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbal
• Resilient and flexible, able to adapt to a changing environment
• Advanced computer literacy, well-developed planning and organisational skills, great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Corporate Governance principles and practices
  • Professional discretion and confidentiality
