Requirements

Minimum requirement:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience:

Appropriate experience in a store’s environment.
Competencies (knowledge/skills):

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to pick up heavy boxes or bags.
Willingness to assist with stock-taking.
Duties (key result areas/outputs):

Timeous delivery of stock to departments, theatre and clinics in a cost effective and safe manner.
Assist clerks with the receipt, storage and issuing of stock.
Assist with the moving of equipment (assets).
Maintain the audit trail of deliveries.
Clean stores on a regular basis.
Any ad-hoc duties.
Note: A competency test may form part of the selection process. No payments of any kind is required when applying for this post.
