The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implementing and managing maintenance plans for areas of responsibility and communicating monthly and weekly maintenance targets; and monitoring and offering technical guidance to Foreman to ensure the safe delivery of targets.
- Managing resource capability, allocation, utilisation and driving the delivery of targets and equipment availability.
- Measuring the performance of Foremen, providing guidance and coaching through the implementation of good standards and best practice.
- Ensuring adherence to Legislation, Policies, Procedures, Standards and Operating Procedures in areas of responsibility.
- Engaging relevant stakeholders to solve operational problems in areas of responsibility as necessary.
- Ensuring that daily performance monitoring and interventions are in place to support and correct performance in areas of responsibility.
