Golden Arrow Bus Services is a road-based public transportation provider in Cape Town and was founded 160 years ago in 1861. The Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022 is being offered to full-time tertiary students in South Africa who are enrolled in any one of the below fields:

1. Transport Economics
2. Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
3. Information Technology

Bursary Coverage

The Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022 covers the following costs for the selected students:

• Tuition fees
• Accommodation expenses
• Book allowance

It is important to note that the students who have been selected to be offered the Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022 will be required to work at Golden Arrow Bus Services for the same number of years that the bursary is provided to the student. In short, a student must work one year for the company for every year of educational expenses they provide.

Eligibility Criteria For The GABS Bursary

The applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be deemed eligible to be awarded the Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022:

• The applicant must be a South African Citizen
• The applicant must either be doing their Matric or 12^th grade currently or must have completed their Matric education
• The applicant must be planning to enroll in or be enrolled full-time at a tertiary institution in South Africa.
• The applicant must be enrolled in courses in one of the fields mentioned above at a recognized institution in South Africa.

How to Apply For GABS Bursary?

Make sure to carefully fill all the required fields and submit fully completed application forms along all the necessary documents to be considered for the Bursary program.

The applicant must fill the application form in block letters or uppercase letters in their own handwriting.

Documents Required

The students who are applying to the Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022 must have the following documents ready while submitting their application:

1. A fully completed application form for the bursary.
2. A copy of the applicants’ 11th-grade results in the case of Matriculants.
3. A copy of Matric or 12th-grade results for students applying or planning on applying to a university for a course in one of the above fields.
4. A copy of your latest academic results if the student is already enrolled in a tertiary institution.
5. Proof of registration if you are a first-year student at a South African university.
6. Students who are not enrolled in a university must send a copy of their university acceptance letter.
7. A certified copy of the student’s ID.
8. A copy of the applicant’s Curriculum vitae (CV)

Note: It is compulsory to submit all the documents being asked for along with the application form. Your application can be disregarded for missing any document.

Closing Date Of The GABS Bursary

The Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary 2022 applications close on 30th January 2022. It is important to note that incomplete application forms and the applications sent after the closing date will not be accepted.

The concerned authorities will contact the applicants who are shortlisted to be provided the bursary for an interview. If you are not contacted, you must understand that your application was unsuccessful.
