The bursary is meant for students pursuing a National Certificate, Diploma, Degree, or Postgrad qualification.

For the academic session 2022, here are the fields of study students are supposed to be in:

• Business Management
• Graphic Design
• Human Resources
• Finance
• Marketing
• Media and Communications
• Supply Chain & Logistics

The bursary will cover the registration fees and tuition costs. Students are expected to pay for other expenses.

Initially, the bursary will offer funding for one year. Students can renew the bursary for the following year with BET.

Eligibility Criteria

To select candidates for the bursary programme, Hollywoodbets has laid out specific eligibility criteria. All the students applying for it must fulfill all the criteria. Failing to do will result in cancellation of your application.

The eligibility requirements for Hollywoodbets Bursary 2022 are:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be either complete Matriculation or currently be in Matric
• Must be studying or intend to pursue a certificate, degree, diploma, or postgrad qualification in one of the aforementioned fields of study
• The qualification should be no less than 12 months long
• Must be studying or intend to study at a recognized Higher Learning Institution in South Africa
• If currently in Matric, the applicant must have scored at least 65% overall average and 65% result per subject
• If currently at tertiary level, the applicant must have scored at least 60% overall average

Meeting all the eligibility criteria, however, does not guarantee funding. Preference will be given to those who stay in the proximity of the tertiary institution they intend to study.

The list of bursars published by Hollywoodbets will be considered final.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates should move forward and apply for the bursary. The application process is quite simple and quick. It will take no more than an hour to complete. However, you should be diligent throughout the process and not rush through it.

There are two phases in the application process. The first one is to complete the online application at their official portal. You can access it by clicking here.

You’d have to provide your contact details, personal details, academic details, among other things. Review the information you’ve inputted before submitting. Incorrect submissions are rejected without further consideration. It’s also important to follow all the instructions while filling out the details.

Documents Required

In the next phase, you have to submit a few documents needed to process the application. You’ll receive an email within 24 hours after completing the online application. The email will contain all the details on how to proceed forward. As for the documents, you have to scan and submit the following:

• South African ID documents
• Acceptance letter (must be on institution letterhead)
• Proforma invoice issued by your institution (on institution letterhead and must include tuition fees, registration fees, and examination fees)
• Address proof

Send the scanned documents to the said email address.

Closing Date

The last date to apply for the Hollywoodbets bursary is 31 October 2021. Submission made after this date will be rejected.
