You can check your SASSA balance via your phone by following the below steps:

1. Dial *120*3210# on your phone
2. Follow the prompts

If the above USSD code does not work, then try the following:

1. Dial *120*69277# on your phone
2. Follow the prompts

Check Your SASSA Balance Using WhatsApp

1. Send the word “Sassa” to the Sassa WhatsApp application number – 082 046 8553
2. Reply with the text “Status”
3. Reply “Yes” if you have reference number.
4. Reply with your mobile number used when applying for the grant.
5. Reply with your reference number.
