REQUIREMENTS: An appropriate B Degree (NQF 7)/ Three (3) year Diploma (NQF 6). At least two years relevant experience. In depth knowledge of legislation and regulations pertaining to public service administration specifically the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, EEA and Skills Development Act. Knowledge of Human Resources in general and Information management. Knowledge of PMDS and CORE. Strong organizational and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, innovative and proactive. General computer literacy skills and knowledge in programs such as MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience in working on PERSAL.

DUTIES: Supervise and undertake the more complex implementation and maintenance of human resource administration practices. Provide operation management services. Ensure compliance with NPA policies and guidelines and all other relevant legislative prescripts, by subordinates and self. HR Provisioning (Recruitment and selection, appointments, transfers, verification of qualifications, secretariat functions at interviews, absorptions, probationary periods etc). Implement conditions of service and service benefits. Termination of service. Ensure administration of training. Record and approve transactions on PERSAL according to delegations. Performance management. Prepare reports on human resources administration issues and statistics. Supervise staff. Allocate and ensure quality of work. Personnel development.
