Job Purpose

Under general supervision, operate a forklift.

Salary: R10,553.68 per month basic plus benefits

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift for the movement of pallets and produce
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water and tires
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Load, lift and move articles on pallets, pallets from trading agents to distribution centre
• Load truck with pallets and packed produce
• Stock splitting for customers
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Grade 9 / NQF Level 1
• Forklift driver’s license
• 6 months relevant experience
