PURPOSE OF POSITION
The overall purpose of an Operator is to effectively operate the designated machine / equipment to support mining and / or hauling operations. An Operator is responsible for operating their machine in a safe manner to execute the Load and Haul plan.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Grade 10 (Standard 8),
• Valid Machine competency certificate or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must meet the required machine specific symbol on Anglo American Dover assessment
• 2 years’ experience in a mining operational role (equipment operation)
• Medical Fitness Certificate, Ability to work shifts.

KELE Mining reserves the right to conduct Qualification, Criminal and Reference checks. Appointments will be made in line with the EE Plan and preference will be given to women in mining.
