Cleaner and pot-wash in a Ou Meul kitchen. The sculler is responsible for the dish-wash machine, general kitchen cleanliness, and washing of pots and equipment to ensure compliance to the Ou Meul standards of perfection.

List of Responsibilities & duties, including but not limited to:

Making sure that crockery and glassware is cleaned in the dish-wash machine.
Ensuring the dish-wash machine is run and cleaned according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, or any other training specified by the head chef.
Pots and pans are cleaned as they accumulate in the scullery.
The grease trap is cleaned daily.
Equipment and kitchen smalls are kept clean.
Floors and walls are cleaned and sanitized.
Assist cooks in general cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces and work areas.
Understands the chemicals used for cleaning, and any safety precautions to be taken.
Performs any other duties requested by the sous or head chef.
Understands safety in the workplace.
Trained in hygiene.
Report any first aid issues to sous or head chef.
Ensure accidents or relevant incidents are reported to the kitchen supervisor or store manager.

Requirements

Experience in a kitchen environment or as a contracted cleaner.
Able to communicate and read machinery instructions.
Able to work in a team.
Dedication to provide exceptional customer service.
