Kruger National Park: General Workers Opportunities

SANParks requires the services of three (3) Bar Attendants at Skukuza Safari Lodge.

Paterson Grading: B1

The successful candidate will be expected to stay outside the park and be paid housing allowance since there is no official accommodation in the park.

• Be in possession of a Food and Beverages Diploma.
• Must have 1 – 3 years’ experience in Beverages Outlet/industry experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Alcohol-related trends and legislation.
• Customer relations.
• Numeracy and literacy.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills.

• Ensure availability & control of resources in accordance with the internal procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant policies & legislation.
• Ensure that the stock levels are monitored and assist with the placement of orders according to the demand and Park stock levels.
• Ensure proper storage of resources in accordance with the suppliers’ storage manuals.
• Offer administrative & financial control support to the department to maintain the budget.
• Market & sell the products including the innovative and in-house.
• Develop innovative products, market & sell them to enhance profit targets.
• Ensure that the customer’s needs & expectations are met in line with the SOP & the delegation framework.
