• Must have either completed Matriculation or currently in Matric

• Must have a strong academic track record
• Must have scored at least 60% overall average in Matric, if currently pursuing Matriculation
• Must have scored at least 60% overall average in all major subjects this year, if currently at the tertiary level

Those who belong to the Emakhazeni, Steve Tshwete, and Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality will get priority over others. Therefore, fulfilling all the eligibility requirements doesn’t guarantee funding.

Mbuyelo Group will notify the successful candidates within two months of the bursary closing date. Their decision to award the bursars will be considered final.
