RequirementsA BLS qualification with professional registration as a BLS with the HPCSA.
At least 6 months BLS operational experience.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the EMS and Rescue environment.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and application of best practice.
Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of facilities, travel routes and demographical area.
Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of Patient Report Forms.
Demonstrate the ability to comprehensively complete Patient Report Forms.
Demonstrate thorough understanding of relevant legislation.
Demonstrate sound proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
Demonstrate knowledge regarding specific client rules and regulations.”
