Introduction…

Murray & Roberts Cementation invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Warehouse Picker/Receiver (Physical). The successful candidate will report to the Administrator Site. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents

Minimum Requirements…

 

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Knowledge of Warehouse operations
  • Grade 12 Numeracy and Literacy
  • Studying towards Certificate in Supply Chain
  • Computer Literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Code 08/10 Drivers licence

 

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

  • 1 year experience in a warehouse operations
  • Physical experience in Material management: Inbound and Outbound, Physical Inventory, Binning and Stacking practices

Job Specification…

      The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

  • Physically issue daily pick slips provided by the outbound supervisor
  • Physically receive materials delivered from suppliers
  • Assist with monthly cycle counts
  • Comply with binning and stacking practices
  • Comply with housekeeping practises
  • Comply with HSE policy and procedures
  • All ad-hoc duties provided by the Supervisor Store
