Murray & Roberts: Driver EB /General Worker

Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Driver EB to be placed in Karee 3 Shaft ,Marikana, North West . The successful candidate will report to the Foreman Engineering The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.

• Safely transport passengers and goods to and from various locations
• Complete log books and checklists accurately
• Delivery and collection of goods and documents
• Adhere to correct load distribution
• Report vehicle abuse, defects timeously
• Vehicles are clean and maintained to standard
• Effective self-management in alignment with M&RC’s values
• The successful candidate must be prepared to work outside the normal working hours

• Grade12 or equivalent
• In possession of a valid code 10 driver’s license
• Valid PDP (public drivers permit)

• Dover Test 64% (preferred)

• Good communication and organizing skills

• At least 2 years relevant working experience as an EB driver
• Relevant experience as a driver in delivery and collection
• Understanding of correct load distribution on vehicle
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Planning and organising skills
