National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) Bursary 2022

NDMC is offering bursaries to a certain number of students every year. That is to encourage more students to build their careers in disaster management. Known as the National Disaster Management Centre bursary, it is offered to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. For the academic session 2022, too, the students have to be pursuing a qualification related to disaster management.

National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) Bursary

The bursary value is decided on a case-by-case basis. It can up to a maximum funding of R 500 and a research allowance of up to R 11,000 for Masters students.

It will cover the following cost:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees

NDMC will also provide a learning resources allowance to all the bursars. To be selected, the applicants would have to sign a contract with DCoG through the NDMC.

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone applying for the funding must fulfill all the criteria a specified by NDMC. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of your application.

The eligibility requirements for NDMC bursary 2022 are:

  • Must be either studying, or have applied, or have been accepted for a disaster management qualification or a field associated with disaster management
