SKILLS: Good interpersonal skills, Communication skills, basic financial management skills, management skills such as planning, decision making, problem solving, organizing, training skills, computer and research skills. | | Duties | Supervise and coordinate all administrative and operational functions of the department. Monitor and evaluate the quality of service in the department. Ensure adherence to dispensing and GPP standards as set out by the Pharmacy law and Regulations. Manage, monitor and evaluate pharmacy staff in the unit. Ensure adherence to Hospital and provincial drug formularies, PFMA, national core standards and Ideal Hospital requirements. Budget control and avoid wasteful and fruitless expenditure. Support the Pharmacy manager ineffective administration of the pharmacy department. Prepare relevant reports.
