Job Description

Premier, a well known FMCG Company is currently recruiting for an Artisan. The position will be based at the Premier Mthatha Bakery. The ideal candidate will be responsible to maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site. Includes Welding, Boiler making and mechanical support.

Qualification Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or Relevant Trade qualification Registered Artisan

Experience Requirements

1 years’ experience in a production plant

• 2 years’ experience as an Artisan Assistant

• N2 – N6 Mechanical

Key Outputs

• Technical support and Troubleshooting according to maintenance schedule at Bakery. • Responsible for the preventive Plant maintenance of Bakery. • Provide on the job training to Apprentices and ensure that all apprentices are skilled in accordance with training. • Ensure that plant and system upgrades are performed in accordance with project plan. • Conduct system maintenance in accordance with stipulated plant checks.
