Job Description	RCL FOODS is seeking a Packing Controller to join our Consumer Groceries Division. The role will be based in Randfontein and report to the Processing Manager. The Packing Controller will be responsible for managing of packing area of the dry pet food plant including staff, productivity, yields, quality and capacity
Minimum Requirements	Relevant Completed Tertiary Qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production environment in a management position
Duties & Responsibilities	Managing of Packing area of the Dry pet food plant including staff, productivity, yields, quality and capacity Ensure that production schedule is adhered to and daily production targets are met Implementation of policies and procedures to manage and maintain facilities and assets. Management of overtime Conduct stock taking and investigate variances Assist with investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances Complete daily tasks on Syspro and DMS when required Responsible for safety of personnel and housekeeping of plant Ensure compliance with OHSAct, FSSC22000 and legal requirements Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on production targets and safety issues Attend daily processing meeting
