| Job Description | RCL FOODS is seeking a Electrician to join our Sugar Division. The role will be based in Malelane and report to the Electrical Foreman. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent that will ensure that all electrical equipment is maintained for optimal performance of the plant coupled with the creation of a safe working environment. |
| Minimum Requirements | Trade Test certificate, N4 and above would be an advantage Sugar & Milling work experience of 5 years and above will be an advantage Ability to read, write and communicate in English Computer Literacy Experience in HT, MV switching and Protection systems up to 33KV Wireman’s licence |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Maintaining all electrical equipment in the Malalane Mill complex. Maintaining, programming, commissioning and fault find on VSD – both AC &DC. Maintaining air-conditioners and Chillers. Maintenance on Alternators. Maintenance of Electrical backup systems e.g. UPS, Diesel generators Maintenance of MV and LV AC/DC motors. Installation of new equipment. Doing fault finding on electrical equipment. Doing maintenance and construction on HT Systems. Transformer maintenance. Ensure all routine inspections are carried out daily. Power Generation and distribution systems. Programming and fault finding on Protection Relays. Fault finding using PLC and scada systems. |
