Job DescriptionThe Packer role has become available within RCL Foods at our Pretoria West – Mill, to complete job and assist in meeting daily production targets. Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed. Be an integral part of a high-performance team. Comply with all Food, Health and Safety Standards
Minimum RequirementsMinimum Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level Basic Computer Literacy Clean criminal record KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Good organizing and administrative skills Must be energetic, self-motivated and pro-active Must be reliable and punctual Must be responsible and able to work with minimum supervision Team player with sober habits PRIMARY JOB OUTPUTS Efficient and cost effective operating of all operations in the packing department
Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the work area is clean and hygienic at all times Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed Be an integral part of a high performance team Comply with all Food, Health and Safety Standards Comply with Product Quality Standards Collect raw material and place in specific aisles ensuring that it conforms with mixing instructions, number of bags, product type and ensure that bags are opened properly and are ready for tipping Ensure correct loading of bags according to documentation Ensure safe stacking and non-mixing of product codes on the same pallet Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
