Senior Stores Receiver ( P11 )

Sappi Saiccor Mill requires a Senior Receiver to control the movement of goods in and out of the Engineering stores.

This role reports in to the Chief Storekeeper

The main responsibilities of this job are :

• Supervise the receipt of all goods entering engineering stores by allocating delivery notes and updating SAP
• Allocate all delivery notes received to the respective storeman and capture all completed GRN’s on SAP
• Dispatch goods locally and internationally and ensures the necessary processes are followed
• Return defective or incorrectly supplied goods and perform the necessary transactions on the SAP system adhering to outlined department procedures
• Complete necessary investigation and administration in relation to trade account and suppliers queries
• Monitor the receiving bay for items standing too long and ensures housekeeping is well maintained
• Receive repaired motors and ensures motor has a test report and all details on the delivery note correspond with the motor
• Receive felts and meshes by offloading with the overhead crane and following the correct receiving processes including updates on the SAP system

The ideal candidate should have:

• Grade 12 (Maths and Science)
• 1 year experience in all aspects of receiving and dispatching within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAP with a overhead crane licence will be considered advantageous
