A well-established organization in Fourways is seeking a Picker & Packer to join their team. Salary is R 4047.89 per month before deductions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Have previous experience as a Picker & Packer
• Knowledge of OHSA Act
• Must be physically fit to preform duties
• Have high level or accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Reside in or around Fourways
• Be Bilingual

Key Performance Areas:

• Comply with and prioritize all health and safety requirements, policies, and procedures
• Ensure that pallets are always kept neat and tidy
• Ensure that there are never different types of stock arranged on the same pallet
• Only pick stock from marked pallets in chiller
• Return stock that was incorrectly picked to the correct place/s
• Ensure that the floor is always clean during the shift
• Stack picked stock in neat arrangements to avoid/minimize damage
• Keep passageway wide and clear for pallets-jacks to move easily
• Report damages and check the expiry dates
• Work as part of a team and assist your co employees
• Supervisor is to double check the order before taking the slip to Invoicing
• Out of stock items to be recorded in Short Register
• Ensure that stock rotation is done before picking
• Ensure that stock is picked from open boxes before opening new boxes
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean and neat

Remuneration:

Salary is R 4047.89 per month before deductions
