Woodlands Dairy Learnership Programme

The highly respected Woodlands Dairy Learnership Programme 2019 is aimed at covering the key areas of dairy processing & packaging including milk reception, nature of milk, CIP & COP, lab testing, and so more. This programme aimed at producing skilled, engaged, and empowered young people in the field of dairy products production & packaging.

The Learnership programme by Woodlands Dairy started out in the year 2012. The first-ever learnership programme by Woodlands Dairy had around 20 students. Since then, the company has been accepting 20 students every year for the annual learnership programme.

This learnership targets the matriculated students from in & around the local area. It aims at retaining these candidates who might be seeking employment elsewhere due to the presence of limited job opportunities in the area.

Duration of the learnership programme with theoretical and practical components is offered for a period of 12 Months.

The main purpose of the one-year learnership programme is to teach the candidates the basic milk production principles including milk reception principles, health & safety, dairy analytical processes, and the best-in-class dairy manufacturing processes.

The programme is accredited with SAQA. Learners who complete the programme successfully are awarded the National Certificate Milk & Cream Handling and Storage.
