Two Permanent Administrative Assistants (SL 5) are being sought with a salary range of R 202 233 – R235 611 per annum plus benefits.

The reference numbers for the positions are 52/SS/2023 – MATLOSANA CAMPUS and 53/SS/2023 – MATLOSANA CAMPUS.

The successful candidates must possess at least Grade 12 or NQF Level 4, as well as 1-2 years’ experience in human resource management, public management, financial management or Student Support environment. They must also have knowledge of examination instructions and management policy, the White Paper on PSET Act, the Public TVET sector and its regulatory framework, Higher Education sector and TVETMIS & ITS.

Other skills include administrative planning and organizing; report writing; communication; problem solving; computer literacy; client orientation; people management. Duties include monitoring budgets & petty cash for the unit; ordering office supplies.

Complete reconciliations and payment forms, order stationery and office equipment for the unit, and keep a register of invoices, payments, petty cash etc. Provide HR information to employees, report on HR matters and discuss policies & best practices with individuals or teams.

Assist with student enquiries, application/issuing of certificates services as well as student registration services. Perform general administrative duties when required by supervisor. For enquiries contact Mr K Sechoaro (Tel: 018 406 7800).
