| Job Description | AECI Mining Chemicals is looking to recruit for a suitably qualified and experienced incumbent to assist with heavy uncomfortable equipment, to assist with tools to minimize down time. To assist with painting of guards and lubrication. When available, to also assist production with general plant setup. To assist within the maintenance department. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | • Assist artisans during general maintenance and breakdowns. • Assist on improvements and new installations and/or modifications to the plant & equipment. • Collections and delivery of spares, gas & diesel • General lubrication and greasing • Assist with plant set up. • Assistance on conveyor belts. • Cleaning of reactors and equipment for repairs • Replacement of lights and general painting in & around the plant |
| Qualifications & Experience | • Grade 12 with completed N2 Mechanical Fitter qualification. • Mechanical training would be an advantage. • Technical knowledge. • Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces. • Must be prepared to work overtime as and when required. • Must be prepared to work standby as and when required. |
