The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has a training and development opportunity for 7 to train as apprentices in technical design, production, operation and maintenance services in the apprentice training school and at a technical college under the supervision of an artisan.

Artisan Apprentice(Diesel Mechanic): Construction and Maintenance- 7 positions

Artisan Apprentice (Fitter and Turner): Construction and Maintenance: Bellville Mechanical Workshop

The successful incumbents must be in good health with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

These positions (7x Diesel Mechanic Apprentices ) are based in Bellville, Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements

• A Technical Matric Certificate or (N stream) with Mathematics and Science as passed subjects;
• Candidates must be under the ages of 21 years.
