Requirements
A Degree or 3-year National Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or any relevant qualification with 3 years’ experience in Asset Management or Grade 12 with 5 years’ appropriate working experience in Asset Management. Must be computer literate with experience in Excel. Must have knowledge of SAP/SRM Systems, Asset Management Policy, and clearing of the Web cycle. Should have a basic understanding of Supply Chain Management Policies and Practices. Good interpersonal relations, communication, negotiation, organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Asset Register/BAS Reconciliations will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Duties
Handle all functions with regards to Repairs, Maintenance & Servicing of all Assets/Equipment within the hospital with strict adherence to the Asset Management Policy guidelines. Obtaining of 3 quotes for all Repairs, Maintenance & Servicing of Assets where there are no SLA’s in place. Compiling of RLS01’s for these items. Ensure that all Assets with SLA’s are serviced as per the agreement. Compiling and updating of a Service Register. Recording of Assets that are declared unserviceable by Technicians and the Condemning & Disposal thereof. Handle the quarterly Condemning process of Assets. Assist with the Bi-annual Asset Verification and the reconciliation process thereof. Assist with Audit and Head Office queries. Ensure that Maintenance/Repairs and Condemning/Disposal Registers are being updated on a regular basis. Oversee that all Assets received are barcoded and captured onto the acquisition register. Safeguarding of all assets within the hospital. Time & Attendance, Discipline, Leave, and general duties of all junior staff including the completion of their PMDS. Clearing of Asset related queries that appear on the Web Cycle. Assist with all departmental audit processes.
