We’re now looking for a qualified Artisan Electrician to join our team in East London factory.
A day in the life of…
Artisan (Electrician)….
- Installing and maintaining electrical equipment in first class working condition
- Ensuring all work carried out on premises conform to SANS code 10142-1:2003 (wiring of premises) and internal standards if more stringent in all areas of engineering, quality and safety health & environment
- Ensuring efficient safe operation of machinery by setting and adjusting devices to within allowed tolerances
- Fault finding and attending to breakdowns
- Completing the necessary administrative tasks for AMM, SHE, CDM
- To be actively involved with new project installations, CDM and MDWTe necessary administrative tasks for AMM, SHE, CDM
- To be actively involved with new project installations, CDM and MDWT
What will make you successful
- Served Apprenticeship and qualified with a Trade Test Certificate
- A minimum of two years post apprenticeship experience in the electrical field.
- Ability to do general welding Task
- Certificate of Registration as an Installation Electrician
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
- In depth knowledge of maintenance practices
