| Job Advert Summary | Reporting to the Instrument Foreman, the successful candidate will assist all Artisan and Technicians within the Section to service, maintain and repair instrumentation equipment. |
| Minimum Requirements | • Grade 12 and a complete N2 in Instrumentation • 3 years’ Artisan Assistant experience in an instrumentation environment • A valid Code B driver’s license and ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test. |
| Primary Duties | • Assistance is provided to service, maintain, install and repair instruments throughout site. • To assist the artisans in maintaining analytical instruments. • Check and inspect plant equipment and machinery • Conduct vibration tests and calibration of level transmitters and pressure gauges. • Assist the instrumentation section in maintaining stock levels. • Perform general housekeeping duties. |
