| Job Description | RCL FOODS is seeking a qualified Millwright to join the team. The role will be based in Randfontein and report to the Engineering Manager / Maintenance Foreman. RCL FOODS is looking for a skilled individual with extensive experience in a similar role. |
| Minimum Requirements | Min N3 and Millwright Trade Test Certificate Minimum 3 years post qualification relevant maintenance experience in a production environment Sound experience in a food-manufacturing environment. Experience with Allen-Bradley switchgear, Mitsubishi VSD, PLC/ Modicon Circuitry/Programming experience, Electronic circuitry and instrumentation.. Experience in flame proof equipment and high speed packaging machinery. Code 08 drivers licence |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Electrical and mechanical activities with reference to preventative maintenance and construction work. Responsible for installation, maintenance and construction of equipment in accordance with sound engineering practices and equipment specifications Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment Identify spares requirements and order according to departmental procedures Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to OHSAct Handle breakdowns in an effective manner Quick and timeous response to breakdowns on the plant Accurate completion of administrative forms Work overtime, do standby and be available for callouts should the need arise |
